You should always be suspicious whenever somebody is trying to aggressively convince you of something, regardless of what it is. I’ve always thought that if being a stay at home parent was genuinely as fulfilling and meaningful as conservative men insist it is, plenty of men would be voluntarily signing up to be SAH dads. But it’s pretty telling that men only talk it up when they’re trying to convince women to give up their financial independence and autonomy to become bang maids.
