Working remotely gives you two of the most precious commodities that corporations have stripped away: time and privacy. Companies are stealing your life away when they force you to sit in a cubicle or open office for 8 hours a day despite only having 2-3 hours of actual work if you’re lucky. People in service and manual labor jobs are jealous of office workers, but pretending to look busy when you have no privacy and managers are always hovering around behind your back is a special type of hell. The hours drag by and you can just feel your life slipping away. There are even million dollar industries that prey on people’s misery at having next to no free time to themselves after getting home from the commute. The cubicle farm needs to die already.
