This one is maybe the most disturbing. It really does seem like in the past 6 years or so, the Republican platform has pushed anti-intellectual rhetoric harder than ever. I’ve never heard so many conservatives brag about things like not reading/not having books at home, never having taken a college class, or not listening to scientists. It blows me away that so many people are legitimately proud of being willfully ignorant.
