This is why gynecology and obstetrics need to be separate fields. Lumping them together means that too many women are forced to get routine or specialty gynecological care from doctors who only chose the field because they cared about the obstetrics part. Obviously those doctors are going to be biased and choose hypothetical future babies over the medical needs of their living patients, regardless of whether those patients even want kids at all.
