This is what everybody says to excuse it, but I don’t buy it. If they were genuinely concerned about regret, it would be just as hard for men to get vasectomies for the same reason. So why aren’t urologists worried about the same thing? Not to mention, the entire field of cosmetic surgery wouldn’t exist. I’m tired of people using fears of litigation to excuse blatant misogyny on the part of doctors who clearly think women can’t possibly have a meaningful life without incubating babies.
