This has more or less been my experience with therapists. Egotistical morons who steal $60 an hour from you to just sit there in silence, throw hollow platitudes and motivational statements my way on occasion, or push new age woo and pseudoscientific bullshit. Fuck therapists, and the moronic people who don’t seem to believe there are so many bad ones and gaslight me by insisting that it “hurts to work through trauma and get better”, as if it’s not possible to feel worse because you have a shitty therapist.
