The same men who talk up motherhood yet treat it with contempt save their highest contempt for women who opt out of having kids

I’ve heard it all, and occasionally from other women, but mostly from men. It starts with the lies (But it’s the most rewarding job ever, how will you be fulfilled, etc) from men who would never in a million years actually be a stay at home parent themselves. Then they move on to threats (you’ll regret it, you’ll die unloved and alone, nobody will take care of you in your old age). Then when they see you’re still not buying it, the contempt comes through and they start the name calling (selfish, w***e, b***h). I genuinely don’t understand why so many men are this triggered by a woman that simply doesn’t want kids.
