Thanks for writing this article! I think behind their contempt is actually fear. They’re afraid of having to compete with equally competent childfree women in STEM and skilled trade workplaces, and also afraid of having to do some of the unpleasant parts of childcare and housework if they end up having a kid with a woman who wants them too.
