My problem with Joe Rogan (and the many men like him) is the casual sexism that often goes unnoticed because too many men think of sexism as outlandish, overt “get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich” types of incidents.

I had an ex that loved his podcast. I would notice that he would often ask male guests all sorts of interesting questions during the introductions: have you ever tried DMT, what do you think about aliens, do you use cryptocurerency, what kind of research do you do? Yet he would always just ask the female guests about their families and if they had kids. Never anything about themselves or anything actually interesting or intellectual.

Too many men believe that women are intellectually inferior and not good for anything but being supporting characters in mens lives, and this example is one of many that often goes unnoticed by people who aren’t on the receiving end of it.
