In my entire life, I can count all of the stay at home dads I’ve known on one hand. Only two did it because they actually wanted to, and one of them actually had a job at home so it wasn’t like he was financially dependent on his wife. The others did it out of necessity and never shut up about how much they hated it.

Men love to bitch about how hard it is to be a breadwinner, but those same men would never in a million years give up their jobs if their wives insisted on supporting them while they took care of the kids and house. And many of them also sure do love to stay late at work, almost as if they’re trying to avoid having to go home and spend time with their wives and kids, despite it supposedly being so awful.
