I’m also introverted and live with a significant other who is at high risk from COVID due to an autoimmune disease. For the last 3 years, I’ve had absolutely no interest in going to some crowded group activity where next to nobody is wearing masks, and I don’t know if everybody has been vaccinated.

Our society desperately needs more outlets for people who want to make platonic friends one on one. Almost every friend meetup site or app revolves around group activities, and that just doesn’t work for everybody in a post pandemic world.
