I wonder how many hours each week he actually spends working.

I joined antiwork because the pandemic revealed one of the biggest lies that employers have been telling us for years: we don’t have the infrastructure to allow for remote work. It’s clear that, not only do we have the technology to allow for most office jobs to be done from home with the same or GREATER productivity, but that most white collar workers don’t even remotely have 8 hours of work to do each day. Most of them have 2 if they’re lucky and work as slowly as possible, while the other 6-7 hours are spent pretending to look busy while stuck at a desk.

Employers are needlessly stealing our time, which is the most valuable commodity we have. We can never buy more, and never know exactly how much we have left. And now they want people to go back to their offices for no good reason. I hope the pandemic has woken up enough people to actually make a difference.
