I think abusive workplaces are driving the great resignation even more than stagnant wages. I’m writing about this and have been shocked at the level of cruelty and dehumanizing treatment I’ve found. It’s hard picking examples to highlight because there are so many of them. Nobody should have to put up with abuse at work, regardless of how much they’re getting paid. I think people are waking up and realizing how awful employers and supervisors have been treating us, and that we deserve better.
