I have a master’s degree in a STEM field and several years of experience, and have been looking for a job for the last year and a half. I’ve gotten all of three interviews, none of which were successful. Like many of the other people commenting here, it’s rare that I’ve even gotten so much as even a canned rejection email. I’ve tried having a professional edit my resume, and have even applied to things outside of my field. At this point, I’m convinced that most of those job postings aren’t even real.
