I don’t understand why any able bodied adult without serious health problems would rather give up and go live in a nursing home than grow the fuck up and learn to cook, clean, and do the other basic responsibilities that most of us learn as teenagers. We need to stop coddling manbabies and making affectionate jokes about 30-somethings that are too lazy or willfully ignorant to do the bare minimum of living independently as adults. It’s not funny for them or the women whose invisible labor they feel entitled to.
