I definitely suspect something changed with the algorithm about a year ago. Since then, my articles continued to have the exact same statistics as they always did in terms of claps, views, and read time, but the earnings dropped by around 90%. A ton of other writers noticed the same thing at the same time. It can’t just be a coincidence, or our fault.

I’m pretty much done here unless something changes for the better again. It was worth spending several hours on an article that made $50-60 over the following month, but unreasonable to expect $5-6 for that much effort. There are much better ways to make money, both in and outside of writing.
