I agree. As bad as things are, we still have it better than most people in the world, and things are also better than they ever have been at any other time. Just 100 years ago, people were dying of tuberculosis and appendicitis, and barely making it out of their 40s. There were no labor laws and people, children included, had to work in filthy factories for 12 hours a day.
