As a childfree person, I genuinely don’t believe celebrities when they say they’re childfree. Most of them are fencesitters, no matter what they say, and for a good reason. Their financial privilege allows them to have parenthood minus the downsides that the rest of us can’t escape. They can have IVF in their 40s, schedule an elective C-section and a tummy tuck at the same time then lie about losing the baby weight via diet and exercise. They can afford expensive reconstructive surgery to fix any urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse they might end up with following a geriatric pregnancy. And then they can pay a night nurse or live-in babysitter 6 figures a year so they can exclusively have the 10% kodak moments of parenthood while skipping the other 90% of thankless scut work and butt wiping.

So yeah, if I was in this situation I mght be tempted to agree to never say never. But I’m not, so no means no. Full fucking stop.
